His strike along with a half-century in 23 balls off the fast bowling of Rajat Patidar helped RCB reach the deciding total of 241/7. In reply, Punjab Kings were all out for 181 runs in the 17th over and lost Tata IPL 2024.
They have now missed the playoffs for ten consecutive years. On the other hand, RCB has gained two more points. He now has 10 points and a respectable NRR of +0.217, which places him seventh in the IPL points table rankings.

With the bat, Kohli has been reliable in every important match. He scored a century on 63 runs in the 2023 match against SRH. He smashed another ton in 61 balls during the match against GT. And in the match on Thursday, Kohli scored 92 off 47.
For RCB, Mohammed Siraj (3/43) took three wickets, while Lockie Ferguson (2/29) and Karn Sharma (2/36) took two wickets each. PBKS lost Prabhsimran Singh (6) early, but Rossouw hit three fours and a six off Siraj and two fours off Swapnil Singh.
Yash Dayal and Ferguson gave away 16 and 14 runs respectively, while Jonny Bairstow (27), Rossouw, and other batsmen scored 75 runs in six overs. After Ferguson removed Bairstow, Rossouw picked up the pace and brought up his half-century off just 21 balls. Punjab’s score was 126/5 in the twelfth over when Karn bowled Jitesh Sharma and Liam Livingstone (0) was dismissed by Swapnil.
