The T20 World Cup will be started in a few days but India on a rush to add players to the squad as Irfan Pathan had rejected Sanju Samson for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be held in the USA and West Indies from 1 June to 29 June 2024.

Despite Sanju Samson having made an impactful start in the Indian Premier League 2024 will not added to the senior Team set-up. So far an all-rounder, Irfan Pathan the former cricketer of India has shortlisted Jitesh Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and KL Rahul as his main contenders for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
And he also expressed on Jitesh Sharma for featuring in the senior team for the past few months but due to the return of Rishabh Pant from the life threatened and multiple surgeries might force the selectors not to select him.
Pathan showed an expression on the return of Pant and he was delighted that Pant was a great cricketer who could turn the match at any movement. His expression showed that Pant was better than Jitesh and he might replace Pant in place of Jitesh. Based on his view Jitesh has a lot of potential to be featured in the senior team but does not have yet the body of work in international event like the T20 world cup.
